Attention!

Watch out! Here comes Choo-Choo Train with 2D shapes!

Circle, oval, triangle, rectangle, square, rhombus, trapezoid, parallelogram, pentagon, hexagon, octagon.

Bye-bye Choo-Choo Train!

Count the corners and sides!

Play Geometric shapes: circle, half circle, oval, triangle, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, square, rhombus, trapezoid, parallelogram.

Now count how many corners and sides there are in some of the shapes.

There are three corners in a triangle: one, two, three, and three sides: one, two, three.
There are four corners in a rectangle: one, two, three, four, and four sides: one, two, three, four.
The square also has four corners: one, two, three, four, and four sides, the four sides are: one, two, three, four.
A pentagon has five corners: one, two, three, four, five, and five sides: one, two, three, four, five.
A hexagon has six corners: one, two, three, four, five, six, and six sides: one, two, three, four, five, six.
An octagon has eight corners: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and eight sides: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.

Now let's find these shapes! Where is the circle? Semicircle? Oval? Triangle? Rectangle? Pentagon? Hexagon? Square? Rhombus? Trapezoid? Parallelogram? Octagon?

You did it! Well done, my friend!
