Teremok
Teremok – the little house (Теремо́к) is a Russian folk tale. This is our own short retelling for the course «Аэро́бика ру́сского языка́»; the Russian lesson page with the sounds, the actions and the grammar is Teremok/Russian.
Here is a teremok. A teremok is a little house.
Who's there? – A mouse! – Who lives in the little house? – Nobody.
The mouse goes into the little house. The mouse is in the little house.
Who's there? – A frog! – Who lives in the little house? – I do, the mouse! And who are you? – I am a frog.
The frog goes in. The mouse and the frog are in the little house.
Who's there? – A hare! – Who lives in the little house? – I do, the mouse! I do, the frog! And who are you? – I am a hare.
The hare goes in. The mouse, the frog and the hare are in the little house.
Who's there? – A fox! – Who lives in the little house? – I do, the mouse! I do, the frog! I do, the hare! And who are you? – I am a fox.
The fox goes in. Four are in the little house.
Who's there? – A wolf! – Who lives in the little house? – I do, the mouse! I do, the frog! I do, the hare! I do, the fox! And who are you? – I am a wolf.
The wolf goes in. Five are in the little house.
Who's there? – A bear! – Who lives in the little house? – I do, the mouse! I do, the frog! I do, the hare! I do, the fox! I do, the wolf! And who are you? – I am a bear. I'm coming in!
– No, no! You are big, and the little house is small!
The bear climbs onto the little house. The bear sits on the little house.
Bang! No more little house! – Oh! Scuffles!
In the old folk rhyme every animal has a nickname – the mouse-in-the-hole, the frog-the-croaker, the hare-the-runner, the fox-the-little-sister, the wolf-grey-side – and the question is «Who, who lives in the little tower-house?». Our lines are shorter so that a beginner can read them on День 25.
