✅ Before you film (from test 1, 3 Nov 2026)
- 📱 Phone sideways, on a tripod or a pile of books – it must not move. Richard sets it.
- 📏 Phone at the height of your chest. The bottom quarter of the picture is floor – the cats need room. Stand a little to the left; the right side stays free for the cats and the things Claude adds.
- 💡 Light on your face, never a window behind you. Same clothes for every clip of this day.
- ⏸ Look at the camera → say the line → the action on the loud syllable → 2 seconds pause. At the very end: stand still 2 seconds and smile (Claude cuts there).
- 🎒 Props: a warm woolly hat, a cup of tea ☕ (a cup with a handle), a bar of chocolate 🍫, a small hand mirror – the rest is animated: the table, the aquarium with the fish and both cats. You may also stand next to your own aquarium – then Claude adds only Scuffles. For the game: a bar of soap 🧼.
- 🧢 Take the hat off after line 2 – your ears must be seen in line 6.
- 🍫 Line 10: eat a piece of chocolate – a little of it may stay on your cheek (or Claude draws the spot).
- ⏱ Story video ≈ 2½ minutes. The word sounds (mp3) are cut from these clips later – say each word clearly.
1. The story video
New opening: «Бр-р-р!» and a warm hat. A cat never gets chocolate – it is bad for cats (Natalia, 2 Nov 2026).

3. The gesture game «Мы мо́ем ру́чки – вот так!» (one take, ~30 s)
The idea of This Is the Way We Wash Our Hands, our own words. Hold up the soap, then wash each part on the loud syllable. Twice: slowly, then faster. Claude adds Slinky licking her paw and washing her face; Scuffles runs away from the soap.

4. Short clip: Звук дня Ж Ш Щ (15 s)
Buzz like a beetle: «Жук жужжи́т: жу-жу-жу!» – three times, faster. Hard Ш, soft Щ: «ша́пка – щека́». Write И, say Ы: «живо́т = жыво́т».
