Draft 2 – what changed (Natalia, 26 Oct)

  • 📖 Что э́то? – a simple explanation in easy Russian, with stress, and English under each line. One example for each meaning.
  • Table: the columns are now ед. ч. · one and мн. ч. · plural (not «мно́го»). Under each question: the small words that need this form (нет, у, без… / к, по… / с, за…). A note: мно́го + plural genitive, два/три/четы́ре + singular genitive.
  • Stress in every form.
  • The story keeps its links – students tap any word to open its page.

How the real pages would get this

  • Stress: each word page gets one extra line with the stressed forms, e.g. sg=ма́стер,ма́стера,ма́стеру,ма́стера,ма́стером,ма́стере and pl=мастера́,мастеро́в,…. Claude adds them, page by page. Until a page has them, it shows the forms without stress, as now.
  • Что э́то? – one extra line on each word page, e.g. def=…. Claude writes simple ones in our own words; Natalia checks.
  • Copyright note: the long definitions on some pages (e.g. учитель: «Тот, кто занимается преподаванием…») look copied from a printed dictionary (Ефремова). Our own simple explanations are safer for the site and the books.
