Russian indefinite numerals
Russian nouns, pronouns, adjectives & numerals decline in gender: (masc, fem, neut), number and case: (nom, gen, dat, acc, inst, prep). Russian adv, conj, interj, prep stay the same. Russian verbs have 3 tenses, 2 aspects; aspectual pairs are formed: via prefixation, via suffixation and lexically. Beware of Russian verbs of position and motion!
Russian numerals are devided into: cardinal, ordinal, collective, indefinite, double numerals.
Russian indefinite numerals don't change: много (many); немного (not many); мало (few); немало (quite a few); сколько (how many?, how much?); несколько (some); достаточно (enough); столько.. (so many); столько.., сколько (as much.., as);
Russian genitive case of quantity is used after Russian indefinite numerals:
- Genitive singular is used for uncountables:
сколько дождя, много воды, мало снега
- Genitive plural is used for countables:
сколько пальцев, много собак, мало яблок
Exeption is: мало народу (Меньше народу - больше кислороду).
