★ The rule in 30 seconds – the «done» brother has no «now». Its «now» form is the future:

напишу́, прочита́ю, сде́лаю, съем = the future, done. бу́ду писа́ть = the future, in process (День 20). Never «бу́ду написа́ть»! ❌
🌱 The seed of the day: a pf verb with the «now» endings (-у, -ешь, -ет…) always points forward 👉. That is why Scuffles can't say «Сейча́с я напишу́».

- ★ pf has no «now». Its «now» endings mean the future: напишу́, прочита́ю, сде́лаю, съем, вы́тяну.
- impf future = бу́ду + verb: бу́ду писа́ть (in process, День 20).
- Never бу́ду + pf: «бу́ду написа́ть» ❌.
- пишу́, пи́шешь – the loud syllable jumps; с → ш.
ударе́ние – stress – shows the syllable you say louder and longer, just like in English: LUN-dun (London), TEL-ih-fohn (telephone).
ЛО́НДОН – the stress is on the first syllable, as in English. But Russians say a real, round о: LON-d’n, not LUN-dun. The second о comes after the stress, so it is short and weak (like the a in sofa).
ТЕЛЕФО́Н – not like the English TEL-ih-fohn: the stress is on the last syllable: ti-li-FON (е without stress sounds like a short и). That is why we mark the stress.
🎯 Why does о sound like а?
«I'll write» – one word in Russian: напишу́. No «will», no «shall» – the little на- does the job. 😮
English «I'll be writing» = бу́ду писа́ть 〰️ · «I'll write it (and finish)» = напишу́ ✅. The same difference as yesterday – only in the future.
🔬 Почему́ так · Why this way
- The time line again. The gestures of Group 3 (👈👇👉) now meet the aspect gestures (〰️ ✅); one table shows all five forms.
- One clear warning. «бу́ду написа́ть» is a very common learner mistake with the aspect – it is named once, with ❌, and the cat makes it.
- Writing by hand. Writing the letters helps reading and remembering the words – the two lesson boxes give real handwriting practice.
- The cat makes the mistakes. The student laughs and is never the one who is wrong.
