«Игла́» – то́нкая о́страя па́лочка с ды́ркой (ушко́м) для ни́тки; ей шьют. Ещё «и́глы» у ежа́ и у ёлки.
«Игла́» is a needle – a thin sharp stick with a hole (an eye) for thread; we sew with it. A hedgehog and a fir tree also have «и́глы».
