💡 The logic ·
Russian verbs of motion come in pairs. Both verbs are imperfective:
➡️ directed – one direction, one trip, now.
🔄 non-directed – there and back, many times, or no direction at all.
✅ Perfective: по- + directed – to set off: Пойдём в кино́!
🚶 subject or object – it moves itself · 🧳 subject with an object – we carry, lead or drive something.
English often has one verb (go, walk); Russian has two – learn them as a pair.
