«Сей» = э́тот. Э́то ста́рое сло́во. Его́ мы ви́дим в слова́х сейча́с (= сей час) и до сих пор. Э́то указа́тельное местоиме́ние – оно́ пока́зывает на предме́т. Оно́ меня́ется как прилага́тельное: сей дом, сия́ ко́шка, сие́ окно́, сии́ кни́ги.
«Сей» = this (an old word). We find it in сейча́с (= «this hour», now) and до сих пор (until now). This is a demonstrative pronoun – it points at something. It changes like an adjective: сей дом, сия́ ко́шка, сие́ окно́, сии́ кни́ги.
