Progress of the batch that redoes the Course 1 lessons (task file: claude/task-batch-redo-lessons.md). Started 6 Nov 2026 by ClaudeHelper. Natalia's decision: pages go straight live, no question per page; the checking chat reads this page.

Each line: ✔ День N · old name → new name · rev · video · typos fixed · notes. A lesson without ✔ is not done yet – the next chat starts at the first line without ✔.

Decisions made by the batch chat

  • Day boxes: 🎵 songs/rhymes yellow, 🎬 videos/stories blue (#E3F2FD), 🤸 games green – as the task file says (Day 8's box from before the batch stays yellow).
  • Day boxes go after the gesture game, after any lesson or rhyme box already there (e.g. День 15's counting rhyme), before the proverb box.
  • День 6 «Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes»: no extra box – the day's gesture game already links to it.
  • Pages without a video (Living Room, One cat many cats, Red Apple, Look Cover Write Check, the two fly pages) got the «📖 reading» banner and a blue box.
  • No-warm-up rule: the old «warm-up» boxes were left out – the lesson pages follow the model (How are you / I am Natasha), which has none.
  • Old «

  • When an old English redirect already pointed to a lesson (e.g. «Colours 4/Russian»), the batch did NOT move onto it (a move there deletes the redirect) – it chose another short Latin name and pointed the old redirect at the new page.
  • The 4 groups are NOT done – waiting for Natalia: ~~h01 games (День 5, 25 pages)~~ (done – see «Group h01» below), h02 aerobics (День 30, 9), h03 «0.942» (День 26, 50 – the list mixes her Логоритмика rhymes with modern pop songs: Пугачёва, Лолита, Полина Гагарина… → copyright check first), h12 folk tales (День 29, 7). Each is many separate pages, so one chat per group is better. No day box was added for them yet.

For Natalia

  • Russian souvenir – two numberings. Old redirects: «Russian Souvenir 1» (capital S) went to «Русский сувенир 6», «Russian Souvenir 2» to «Русский сувенир 1»… (one number off). The batch kept those targets and only pointed them straight at the new pages. The new pages are numbered like the Russian ones: Russian souvenir 1 = old «Русский сувенир 1». Should «Russian Souvenir N» point to «Russian souvenir N/Russian» instead? Check with the YouTube titles.
  • Old English redirects found during the batch – they pointed to the Cyrillic lessons and now point straight at the new pages: «Food 3/Russian» → Food with Richard/Russian, «Colours 4/Russian» → White or black/Russian, «Colours 3/Russian» → Colours with Richard/Russian, «Colours 5/Russian» → This box is brown/Russian, «Learn to count/Russian» → Learn to count with Maya/Russian. The batch did not move onto them (that would delete them). If you prefer those older names, say so – they can be swapped later.
  • The 4 groups (see Decisions): which pages of each group should go to Course 1? Especially h03 – modern pop songs should not be there.
  • «Coffee or tea/Russian» – the English of the long folded text is an old machine translation (e.g. «There is no sugar, and salt»). Richard may want to correct it.
  • The English hubs (e.g. Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Days of the week) show many red «Category:English …» links – they come from the English course menu, not from the Russian lessons. Richard's pages – not changed.
  • Busy days: День 6 now has 5 lesson boxes, День 23 seven, День 24 eight. If that is too much for Part 2, choose 2–3 per day and the others can move to Course 2.

  • Russian souvenir: moved to «Russian souvenir 1 … 6» (no /Russian – a lesson only for Russian). Old names lead there (revs 435320–435343).
  • Modern pop songs: 9 pages on User:ClaudeHelper/Ready to delete, Bunch 22 (rev 435313); 9 older/rock/film songs listed below the box for her choice.
  • Busy days: 20 lessons moved to Course 2 – boxes taken off День 6, 7, 14, 15, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28 (max 3 lesson boxes a day); the pages say «kept for Course 2» instead of the День bar: What is in the room, Living Room, Alouette, Room 2, My favourite or yours, Learn to count with Maya, Food 2, What Colour Is The Car, What Colour is the Sun, What colour is this window, Colours with Richard, Colours - Green Grass, Red apple with Richard, Green grass lesson, What letter is it 1, Write with me, African animals 1, Where does a fly live, Seasons 3, Today is the 29th of March (all /Russian).

Check of the batch (Fable, 6 Nov 2026)

All 83 pages checked by script (a–i) and the 28 day pages of Course 1. Course 1 now has 63 lesson pages (20 moved to Course 2 by Natalia's answer above).

They were red categories before the batch too; the batch only checked the 📚 boxes. A dictionary chat makes the pages or takes the words out.
  • Her text (check d): the old words missing from a new page are almost all names of other lessons (the old «Next» and «fun» links) – as the batch said. Three real blocks of text were left out – see For Natalia below.

For Natalia – from the checking chat

  • Days of the week/Russian (День 22): the old page had a folded text «Посло́вицы о днях неде́ли» – 14 old sayings (В понеде́льник по́сле середы́; Семь пя́тниц на неде́ле…). The batch left it out. Put it back as a folded 📖 block? (old version)
  • Fish – who or what/Russian (День 5): the old rule box «Вку́сный, вку́сная, вку́сное, вку́сные» (adjective endings) was left out – it is not День 5's rule (на столе́). Leave it out, or keep it as a second 💡 line? (old version)

Group h01 – gesture games (День 5) – done 6 Nov 2026

Natalia's answers, 6 Nov 2026 (evening): Железнова forbade her videos → «Наши ручки отмываем» off Day 5 (now 24 games) and remade as Natalia's own game on День 10; her other song pages were first put on Ready to delete, then taken OFF again (rev 435689 – many are folk rhymes, Natalia will remake them: claude/folk-games-todo.md); only her photo waits there. Женя Кац – OK, they talked. трёхсотый is a real word → back in ruW of Dwarf and Lesovichok/Russian (rev 435665) and on Что не хватает. «Пятеро волчат» – her own translation, the Spanish video goes, her video still to make. Her lesson with Richard was on «Where, Where Are Our Hands/Russian» – Natalia: the hub must be a hub, /Russian the потешка, the lesson in its own place (other languages later).
